Submucosal Fibroid

Clinical Background: 67 year old patient was referred with an ultrasound showing an ill-defined nodule in the posterior part of the cervical canal.

Procedure: Hysteroscopy was done. A submucosal fibroid was identified. Complete resection of the fibroid was achieved with a Truclear resection device.

Histopathology: Histopathology confirmed benign fibroid. Cervical screening test was normal.

Postop: Patient recovered well with no concerns.
