Fibroid Uterus with Vaginal Wall Prolapse

Background: 52-year-old patient who is para two (one caesarean section and one vaginal delivery) presented with symptoms of vaginal wall prolapse and an ultrasound showed a fibroid uterus.

Procedure: Total laparoscopic hysterectomy, removal of both tubes and ovaries, uterosacral ligament fixation laparoscopically to correct the prolapse.

Histopathology: Showed benign fibroids, adenomyosis with normal cervix, tubes and ovaries.

Recovery: Laparoscopic wounds have healed with no significant concerns postoperatively.
